1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions

• Electrical Safety: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local wiring regulations. Always switch off the main power supply before installation, maintenance, or bulb replacement.
• Indoor Use Only: This product has an IP20 rating, meaning it is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5mm but has no protection against water. It is designed exclusively for indoor use.
• Bulb Compatibility: Use only E27 bulbs with a maximum wattage of 25W per socket. Do not exceed the specified wattage.
• Handling: Do not touch the bulb immediately after use as it may be hot. Allow it to cool down before handling.
• Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

4. Setup and Installation

Important: Ensure the main power supply is switched off at the circuit breaker before starting installation.

1. Prepare Mounting Location: Choose a suitable ceiling location for installation. Mark the drilling points for the mounting bracket.
2. Mount the Bracket: Drill holes at the marked points and insert the wall plugs. Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling using the provided screws.
3. Electrical Connection: Connect the household electrical wires to the terminal block on the light fixture. Ensure correct polarity (Live, Neutral, Earth) as per local regulations. Double-check all connections for security.
4. Attach the Fixture: Carefully attach the light fixture to the mounted bracket, securing it with the provided screws or fasteners.
5. Install Bulbs: Screw two E27 bulbs (max. 25W each, not included) into the lamp holders.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed and power is restored, the Briloner Ceiling Spot is ready for use.

• Power On/Off: Operate the light using your standard wall switch.
• Adjusting Light Direction: The two spot heads are rotatable and pivotable. Gently adjust each spot head to direct the light precisely where needed.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure the power is off. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use liquid or abrasive cleaners.
• Bulb Replacement: Before replacing a bulb, switch off the power supply and allow the bulb to cool completely. Unscrew the old bulb and screw in a new E27 bulb (max. 25W).

7. Troubleshooting

• Light Does Not Turn On:
  • Check if the main power supply is switched on.
  • Ensure the wall switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • Verify that the bulbs are correctly installed and not faulty. Try replacing them with known working bulbs.
  • If the issue persists, consult a qualified electrician to check the wiring connections.
• Flickering Light:
  • Ensure bulbs are screwed in tightly.
  • Check for loose wiring connections (consult an electrician).
• Circuit Breaker Trips:
  • Immediately switch off the power. This indicates a serious electrical fault.
  • Do not attempt to fix this yourself. Contact a qualified electrician immediately for inspection and repair.
