2. Safety Information

5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Inspect the string lights, bulbs, and cord for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.

5.2 Bulb Installation

  1. Ensure the string light is unplugged from any power source.
  2. Gently screw each LED bulb into the E26 medium base sockets. Do not overtighten.
  3. Ensure the protective cage is securely fastened around each bulb.

5.3 Placement and Hanging

  1. Determine the desired location for your string lights. Consider areas requiring temporary illumination such as construction zones, workshops, or outdoor work areas.
  2. Use appropriate hanging hardware (not included) such as hooks, zip ties, or sturdy clips to secure the string lights. The sockets are designed with hanging points for easy installation.
  3. Ensure the string is hung securely to prevent accidental falls or damage. Avoid placing tension directly on the electrical cord.

5.4 Connecting Multiple Strings (Linkable Feature)

The LEDIARY Construction String Lights are designed to be linkable, allowing you to connect up to 8 sets (totaling 80 bulbs) for extended coverage.

  1. Ensure both string lights are unplugged from the power source.
  2. Locate the male plug on one string and the female connector on the other.
  3. Align and firmly push the male plug into the female connector.
  4. Secure the connection by ensuring the waterproof cover on the female connector is properly sealed over the joint.
  5. Plug the first string into a grounded power outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

To operate the string lights, simply plug the main power cord into a compatible 100-277V AC grounded electrical outlet. The lights will illuminate immediately. To turn off the lights, unplug the power cord from the outlet. This product does not feature an integrated on/off switch.

6.2 Intended Use

These string lights are designed for temporary lighting applications in demanding environments. Their robust construction and IP65 rating make them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, including:

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the string lights before cleaning.
  2. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the cord, sockets, and protective cages.
  3. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the materials.
  4. Ensure all components are completely dry before plugging the lights back in.

7.2 Bulb Replacement

  1. Ensure the string light is unplugged and the bulb has cooled completely.
  2. Carefully unscrew the protective cage.
  3. Unscrew the old bulb from the E26 socket.
  4. Screw in a new E26 base LED bulb (maximum 10W per bulb) until snug. Do not overtighten.
  5. Reattach the protective cage securely.

7.3 Storage

When not in use, store the string lights in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Coil the cord neatly to prevent tangling and damage.
