5. Setup
5.1 Mounting
The LED spotlight is equipped with an adjustable bracket on the back, allowing for flexible mounting on a wall, ceiling, or tripod. The recommended installation height is between 2.3 meters and 4 meters for optimal motion detection and light distribution.
5.2 Wiring
Ensure the power supply is disconnected before proceeding with wiring. The fixture uses an M16 cable gland for secure and straightforward electrical connection.

Figure 4: M16 cable gland for quick and easy installation. The clamping range for cable diameters is 4-10 mm.
- Open the M16 cable gland by unscrewing the cap.
- Feed the power cable through the gland.
- Connect the wires (Live, Neutral, Earth) to the corresponding terminals inside the fixture. Ensure connections are tight and secure.
- Tighten the M16 cable gland cap to secure the cable and ensure water resistance.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Motion Detector Settings
The PIR motion sensor features three adjustable controls to customize its operation:

Figure 5: PIR sensor controls. From top to bottom: Range, Light Duration, Light Sensitivity. Also shown is the ON/OFF switch.
- Range (REICHWEITE): Adjusts the detection distance from 1 to 10 meters. Turn the knob to increase or decrease the range.
- Light Duration (LEUCHTDAUER): Sets how long the light stays on after motion is detected, from 5 to 600 seconds.
- Light Sensitivity (LICHTEMPFINDLICHKEIT): Determines the ambient light level at which the sensor becomes active, ranging from 5 to 2000 lux. This allows the light to only activate in low light conditions.
6.2 ON/OFF Switch
An ON/OFF switch is located on the unit. This switch allows you to disable the motion detector function, enabling the LED spotlight to be used as a normal, continuously illuminated light fixture.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the light fixture regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish or components.
- Sensor Lens: Ensure the motion sensor lens remains clean and free from obstructions (e.g., dirt, leaves, spiderwebs) for optimal performance.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the wiring and mounting for any signs of wear, damage, or loosening.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your LED spotlight, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Light not turning on:
- Check if the power supply is connected and active.
- Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position (if using motion detection).
- Adjust the 'Light Sensitivity' setting; it might be too high for current ambient light conditions.
- Verify the 'Light Duration' setting is not set too short.
- Motion sensor not detecting:
- Check for obstructions in front of the sensor.
- Adjust the 'Range' setting to increase detection distance.
- Ensure the sensor lens is clean.
- Verify the installation height is within the recommended range (2.3m - 4m).
- Light flickering or inconsistent operation:
- Check all electrical connections for tightness and security.
- Ensure the power supply is stable.
- If the issue persists, contact customer support.
