2. Setup

2.1 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, wash all parts of the food jar and the included containers thoroughly with warm water and mild dish soap. Rinse completely and allow to air dry.

2.2 Pre-heating or Pre-cooling (Optional)

  • For Hot Food: Fill the food jar with hot tap water, attach the lid, and let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Empty the water before adding your hot food.
  • For Cold Food: Fill the food jar with cold tap water, attach the lid, and let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Empty the water before adding your cold food.

Pre-heating or pre-cooling helps maximize the insulation efficiency of the food jar.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Filling the Food Jar

  1. Ensure the food jar is clean and, if desired, pre-heated or pre-cooled.
  2. Carefully place your hot or cold food directly into the main stainless steel jar.
  3. For additional items, use the two non-insulated 600ml BPA-free containers. These containers are suitable for microwave use (without lids) and are dishwasher safe.
  4. Do not overfill the jar or containers. Leave sufficient space for the lid to close properly.

3.2 Sealing the Jar

  1. Place the inner lid onto the jar and twist clockwise until securely tightened. The easy twist-off design ensures a good seal.
  2. Place the stopper lid (which can also serve as a serving bowl) on top and twist clockwise to secure. The stopper design helps equalize air pressure, making it easier to open later.
  3. Ensure all lids are tightly sealed to prevent leaks and maintain temperature.

3.3 Opening the Jar

  1. Twist the stopper lid counter-clockwise to remove it.
  2. Twist the inner lid counter-clockwise to open. The pressure equalization feature assists in easier opening.

3.4 Temperature Retention

  • Hot Insulation: Up to 10 hours.
  • Cold Insulation: Up to 24 hours.

Actual retention times may vary based on initial food temperature, ambient temperature, and frequency of opening.

4. Maintenance and Care

4.1 Cleaning

  • Food Jar: Hand wash only. Do not immerse the entire jar in water for extended periods. Use a soft brush for thorough cleaning of the interior.
  • Containers: The two non-insulated 600ml containers are microwaveable (without lids) and dishwasher safe.
  • Lids and Gaskets: Wash all lids and silicone gaskets with warm, soapy water. Ensure gaskets are properly seated after cleaning to maintain a leak-proof seal.
  • Rinse all components thoroughly after washing and allow them to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.

4.2 Storage

Store the food jar with the lid slightly ajar to allow air circulation and prevent odors. Store in a dry place.

4.3 Important Safety Information

  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers on any part of the food jar, as this may damage the finish.
  • Do not place the stainless steel food jar in a microwave, oven, or freezer.
  • Keep out of reach of children when filled with hot contents.
  • Ensure food is at a safe temperature before consumption, especially for children.
