Important Safety Information

Always assemble and disassemble the bed carefully to avoid injury from strong springs and anti-slip mats. Keep fingers and other body parts away from the folding mechanism to prevent entrapment. 1. Setup and Assembly

Your KOMFOTT Twin Folding Bed arrives mostly pre-assembled. Follow these steps to prepare it for use.

1.1 Unfolding the Bed

Carefully remove the bed from its packaging. Place the folded bed in the desired location. Ensure sufficient space for unfolding.

1. Gently pull the two halves of the bed frame apart.
2. As the frame extends, the support legs will automatically deploy.

1.2 Mattress Placement

The 5-inch memory foam mattress is included. Place the mattress onto the unfolded bed frame. The bed is equipped with mattress retainer bars to prevent the mattress from shifting during use.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Using the Bed

Once fully assembled, the bed is ready for use. The sturdy steel frame supports a weight capacity of up to 440 lbs. The 5-inch memory foam mattress provides comfort for sleeping.

2.2 Folding for Storage

To fold the bed for storage, ensure no bedding or items are on the mattress. Reverse the unfolding process:

1. Lift one end of the bed frame.
2. Gently push the two halves of the frame together. The legs will retract automatically.
3. Continue folding until the bed is in its compact, upright position.
4. Secure the folded bed with any integrated locking mechanisms if present (refer to specific product design).

2.3 Moving the Bed

The bed is equipped with 360° swivel casters for easy mobility. When the bed is folded, it can be effortlessly rolled to a storage location.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Mattress Care

The mattress cover is made of Polyester Blend. For cleaning, the manufacturer recommends Dry Clean Only. Do not machine wash or tumble dry the mattress cover to avoid damage.

3.2 Frame Care

The steel frame can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Ensure the frame is completely dry before folding or storing. Regularly check all bolts and connections to ensure they are tight and secure. The anti-slip mats on the legs should also be inspected periodically for wear and tear.

4. Troubleshooting

• Bed does not unfold or fold smoothly: Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism. Ensure the mattress is properly aligned and not interfering with the frame's movement.
• Mattress slides off the frame: Verify that the mattress retainer bars are correctly installed and positioned.
• Bed feels unstable: Ensure all support legs are fully extended and locked. Check that the anti-slip mats are intact and making full contact with the floor. Do not exceed the maximum weight limit of 440 lbs.
• Casters not rolling smoothly: Clean any debris from the caster wheels. Ensure the casters are securely attached to the frame.
