5. Setup Instructions
5.1. Setting the 4-Digit Combination
The lock comes with a default combination. To set your personal 4-digit combination:
- Ensure the lock is disarmed.
- Locate the small reset button on the side of the lock unit (often recessed, requiring a pen tip or the provided screwdriver).
- Press and hold the reset button until you hear a 'Di' sound.
- Enter your desired 4-digit combination using the number buttons (1-4).
- Press the Lock/Unlock button to confirm your new combination. You will hear a confirmation sound.
- Important: Write down your combination and store it in a safe place. If you forget the combination, the lock cannot be opened without the correct code, and there is no master reset function.
