- Keep packaging materials until you are satisfied with the product's operation.
Placement
- Place the wine cabinet on a flat, stable surface strong enough to support the unit when fully loaded.
- Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources (e.g., oven, radiator, dishwasher).

Maintenance and Care
Cleaning the Interior
- Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Remove all bottles and shelves.
- Wash the interior surfaces with a solution of lukewarm water and baking soda (2 tablespoons of baking soda to 1 quart of water).
- Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth.
- Clean the shelves with a mild detergent solution and dry them completely before placing them back.
Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent and water.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
- For the glass door, use a glass cleaner.
Defrosting
The wine cabinet is designed with an automatic defrost system. Frost will melt and drain into a drip tray at the back of the unit, where it evaporates. No manual defrosting is typically required.
Power Outage Considerations
Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the temperature of your appliance if you minimize the number of times the door is opened. For longer power outages, consider placing dry ice in the upper part of the unit. Use caution when handling dry ice.
Vacation and Storage
- Short Vacations: Leave the wine cabinet operating during vacations of less than three weeks.
- Long Vacations/Storage: If the appliance will not be used for several months, remove all items, unplug the power cord, clean the interior thoroughly, and leave the door slightly ajar to prevent odor and mold formation.
