Setup

1. Mounting the Camera: Securely attach the camera to your desired indoor or outdoor location using the provided mounting screws. Ensure the camera has a clear line of sight to the area you wish to monitor.
2. Power and Network Connection (PoE): Connect the camera to a PoE-enabled NVR or switch using the provided LAN cable. This single cable will supply both power and data.
3. Alternative Power (if NVR is not PoE): If your NVR does not support PoE, you can use a separate power adapter (not included) to power the camera, and then connect the LAN cable for data transmission.
4. NVR Connection: Connect your NVR to a router using an Ethernet cable for internet access, if remote viewing is desired.
5. App Download: Download the 'Honestview' or 'Eseecloud' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
6. Device Pairing: Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera to the application. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or manually entering its ID.

Operating Instructions

1. Remote Monitoring

View live footage and recorded videos from anywhere using the dedicated mobile app or client software on your PC. The system supports multiple users (up to 4 simultaneously) for streaming video.

2. Two-Way Audio

Utilize the built-in microphone and speaker to engage in two-way conversations through the camera. This feature is accessible via the mobile application.

3. Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera can detect motion within its field of view. When motion is detected, you will receive instant notifications via the app or email. You can also set specific detection areas to reduce false alarms.

4. Recording Modes

The system supports various recording modes:

• Continuous Recording: Records 24/7.

5. Night Vision

The camera automatically switches to infrared (IR) mode in low-light conditions, providing clear black-and-white surveillance footage. The IR-LED system ensures visibility up to 24 meters.

6. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)

The AI WDR function adjusts the balance between bright and dark areas in the surveillance image, enhancing clarity and detail in challenging lighting conditions.

• Cleaning: Regularly wipe the camera lens and housing with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or water spots. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could scratch the lens.
• Cable Inspection: Periodically check all cables for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Ensure waterproof connectors are properly sealed, especially for outdoor installations.
• Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or app for available firmware updates to ensure your camera has the latest features and security enhancements.
• Storage Management: If using local storage (HDD), regularly back up important footage and ensure there is sufficient space. The system supports H.265+ compression to reduce storage needs and can be expanded up to 6TB.
