Safety Instructions

  • Always ensure the blender is unplugged before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning.
  • Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
  • Keep hands and utensils out of the jar while blending to prevent injury.
  • Ensure the lid is securely in place before operating the blender.
  • Do not blend hot liquids that exceed the maximum fill line, as pressure buildup can cause the lid to eject.
  • Avoid continuous operation for extended periods to prevent motor overheating. Allow the appliance to cool down between uses.
  • This appliance is for household use only.

Setup and Assembly

Before first use, wash all removable parts (glass jar, lid, measuring cup) in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. The motor base should be wiped with a damp cloth.

  1. Place the motor base on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
  2. Ensure the blade assembly is securely attached to the bottom of the glass jar.
  3. Carefully place the glass jar onto the motor base. Ensure it is properly seated and locked into position. The blender will not operate if the jar is not correctly aligned.
  4. Place the lid securely on top of the glass jar. Insert the measuring cup into the lid opening.

Operating Instructions

The Schneider SCBL15B blender offers variable speed control and a turbo function for optimal blending results.

  1. Add ingredients to the glass jar. Do not exceed the maximum fill line indicated on the jar. For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, and finally harder ingredients or ice.
  2. Securely place the lid on the jar and ensure the measuring cup is inserted.
  3. Plug the blender into a suitable power outlet (230V).
  4. Variable Speed Control: Turn the control dial on the front of the motor base to select your desired speed. Start with a lower speed and gradually increase as needed for consistent blending. The dial ranges from '0' (off) to 'MAX' (maximum speed).
  5. Turbo Function (Pulse): For short bursts of high power, turn the dial to the 'P' (Pulse) setting and hold it. Release the dial to stop. This function is ideal for chopping, crushing ice, or achieving a coarse blend.
  6. Blend until desired consistency is achieved.
  7. Once blending is complete, turn the dial back to '0' and unplug the appliance.
  8. Carefully remove the lid and pour out the contents.

Tips for Best Results:

  • For thick mixtures, use the pulse function to break up ingredients before continuous blending.
  • When blending ice, use the pulse function for short bursts until desired consistency is reached.
  • Do not overload the blender. If the motor strains, reduce the amount of ingredients.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your blender.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the blender from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble: Remove the glass jar from the motor base. Carefully detach the blade assembly from the bottom of the glass jar. Remove the lid and measuring cup.
  3. Cleaning the Glass Jar and Blades: Wash the glass jar, lid, measuring cup, and blade assembly in warm, soapy water. Use a brush to clean around the blades carefully. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry, or dry with a soft cloth. These parts are generally dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended for blade longevity.
  4. Cleaning the Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent on the cloth. Dry thoroughly.
  5. Storage: Store the assembled blender in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
