5. Setup and Installation

5.1. Pre-Installation Check

- Wall Type: This mount is suitable for solid concrete walls, brick walls, and wood stud walls (16-inch stud spacing). Do not use with 18 or 24-inch studs. Do not install on drywall only.

5.2. Attaching TV Brackets
- Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
- Select the appropriate screws and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's mounting holes.
- Attach the vertical TV brackets to the back of your TV using the selected screws and spacers. Ensure they are securely tightened.

5.3. Wall Plate Installation
- Determine the desired height for your TV. Use the provided mounting template to mark the drill holes on the wall.
- For wood stud installation, use a stud finder to locate the center of two adjacent 16-inch spaced studs. Mark the drill points.
- For concrete or brick walls, mark the drill points directly.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked locations using the recommended drill bit size for your wall type.
- Secure the wall plate to the wall using the appropriate lag bolts and washers. Ensure the wall plate is level using a spirit level.

5.4. Mounting the TV
- With assistance, carefully lift the TV and hook the TV brackets onto the wall plate.
- Ensure the TV is securely seated on the wall plate.
- Engage any safety locks or screws to prevent accidental dislodgement.
