1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the AIDA Lighted Wireless Doorbell system. Designed for ease of use and reliability, this doorbell offers an ultra-long range, multiple chime options, adjustable volume, and a durable waterproof design, ensuring you never miss a visitor.

2. Package Contents

3. Setup and Installation

The AIDA Wireless Doorbell is designed for easy setup without the need for electrical wiring.

3.1 Receiver Setup

  1. Plug the receiver into a standard electrical outlet (120 Volts) in a central location within your home or office.
  2. Ensure the receiver is within the 1000ft/300m range of the doorbell buttons for optimal performance.

3.2 Transmitter (Doorbell Button) Installation

The doorbell buttons can be installed using either the self-adhesive patch or screws.

  1. Before Installation: Remove the battery insulating tab from the transmitter before use.
  2. Method 1: Self-Adhesive Installation
    • Clean the desired installation surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust.
    • Peel off one side of the adhesive patch and firmly attach it to the back of the doorbell button.
    • Peel off the other side of the adhesive patch and press the doorbell button firmly onto the cleaned surface for at least 30 seconds.
  3. Method 2: Screw-In Installation
    • Mark the desired screw positions on the wall.
    • Drill pilot holes if necessary.
    • Secure the doorbell button to the wall using the provided screws.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Pairing the Doorbell

The doorbell system typically comes pre-paired. If re-pairing is needed or adding new transmitters:

  1. Select your favorite ringtone on the receiver before pairing.
  2. Hold and press the volume control button on the receiver for 5 seconds until a "Ding-dong" sound is heard and the LED indicator starts flashing. The receiver is now in pairing mode.
  3. Quickly press the transmitter (doorbell button) to send a signal to the receiver. The receiver will chime, indicating successful pairing.

4.2 Changing Chimes and Volume

The doorbell offers 58 melodies and 5 adjustable volume levels (up to 110 dB).

  • Use the "Forward" and "Backward" buttons on the side of the receiver to cycle through the 58 available chimes.
  • Use the "Volume Control" button to adjust the sound level.

4.3 Mute Mode

The doorbell features a mute mode, ideal for times when you do not wish to be disturbed. In mute mode, the LED flash will still activate, ensuring you are aware of visitors without audible chimes.

4.4 Smart Memory Function

The doorbell remembers your last selected melody and volume level, even after a power outage, eliminating the need to reconfigure settings.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement (Transmitter)

The doorbell buttons use 2 x CR2016 3V 75mAh button cell lithium batteries. With low energy consumption, these batteries can last up to a full year.

  • To replace batteries, carefully open the transmitter casing.
  • Remove the old batteries and insert new CR2016 batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  • Close the casing securely.

5.2 Cleaning

Wipe the doorbell receiver and transmitters with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
