True Wireless Bluetooth 5.2 Earbuds with Alexa
Introduction
The Amazon Echo Buds are true wireless earbuds designed to deliver rich, balanced sound and seamless integration with Alexa. Featuring Bluetooth 5.2, these earbuds offer audio personalization, multipoint connectivity, and a long-lasting battery with a convenient charging case. They are built for comfort and durability, with a semi-in-ear design and sweat resistance, making them suitable for various daily activities.
Setup
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, place the Echo Buds into the charging case and connect the case to a power source using a USB-C cable. A full charge provides up to 20 hours of total playback time with the charging case, and a 15-minute quick charge can provide up to 2 hours of music playback.
2. Pairing with Your Device
To pair your Echo Buds, ensure they are in the charging case with the lid open. Open the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone or device and select "Echo Buds" from the list of available devices. For full functionality, download and install the Alexa app on your iOS (14+) or Android (8.0+) device.

3. Fitting the Earbuds
The Echo Buds feature a semi-in-ear design for a comfortable fit that allows awareness of your surroundings. They come with pre-installed silicone earbud covers. Experiment with the two included pairs of silicone earbud covers to find the most comfortable and secure fit for your ears. The semi-in-ear design gently rests in your ear without sealing the ear canal, promoting unobstructed airflow.

Maintenance
Cleaning Your Echo Buds
To maintain optimal performance and hygiene, regularly clean your Echo Buds and charging case. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe down the earbuds and the interior of the charging case. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals. Ensure the silicone earbud covers are also kept clean.
Water Resistance
The Echo Buds (earbuds only) have an IPX2 rating for water resistance, meaning they are resistant to dripping water. This makes them sweat resistant and suitable for light workouts. Do not submerge the earbuds or the charging case in water.
Troubleshooting
Connectivity Issues
- Earbuds not connecting: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the Echo Buds are charged. Try placing the earbuds back in the case, closing the lid, and reopening it to re-initiate pairing mode.
- Intermittent audio: Check for interference from other wireless devices. Ensure your device is within range of the earbuds.
Battery and Charging
- Earbuds not charging: Verify the charging cable is securely connected to the case and a power source. Ensure the earbuds are correctly seated in the charging case.
- Short battery life: Battery life can vary based on usage, volume levels, and features like Hands-Free Alexa. Disable Hands-Free Alexa in the app for extended playback.
Audio Quality
- Poor sound quality: Ensure the silicone earbud covers are properly fitted. Use the Audio Personalization feature in the Alexa app to tailor the sound to your preferences.
