Setup Guide

1. Insert MicroSD Card: Locate the microSD card slot (usually under a rubber flap) and insert a compatible microSD card (up to 512GB for continuous recording).
2. Power On: Connect the 6' Micro USB Cable to the camera and the Power Adapter, then plug the adapter into a power outlet. The camera's status light will illuminate.
3. Download Wyze App: Download the latest version of the Wyze app from your device's app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android).
4. Add Device: Open the Wyze app, tap the "+" sign in the top right corner, select "Add Device," then "Cameras," and choose "Wyze Cam Pan v2."
5. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect your camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is near the camera during this process.

Installation

The WYZE Cam Pan v2 is designed for versatile placement. It can be simply placed on a flat surface indoors, such as a shelf or table. For more permanent installations, a mounting plate/bracket and screws are included.

• Indoor Placement: Place the camera on any flat surface with a clear view of the desired monitoring area.
• Wall/Ceiling Mounting: Use the included mounting bracket and screws to secure the camera to a wall or ceiling. The camera's base is adjustable, allowing you to tilt and rotate the camera body to achieve the desired fixed lens orientation. The pan and tilt functionality can then be used to cover the wider area.
• Power Connection: Ensure the camera is plugged into a power source after installation.

Operating Instructions

Access and control your WYZE Cam Pan v2 through the Wyze app.

• Live View: Open the Wyze app. Your camera's snapshot will appear. Tap on it to access the live stream.
• Pan & Tilt Control: Use the directional controls within the live view to manually pan (360°) and tilt (93°) the camera.
• Waypoints: Save specific camera positions as waypoints for quick navigation. The camera can move to these saved positions.
• Spotlights: Turn on/off the built-in spotlights for enhanced visibility or color night vision.
• Two-Way Audio: Tap the microphone icon to initiate two-way communication.
• Mini-Siren: Activate the mini-siren from the app to deter unwanted visitors.
• Motion Tracking: Enable/disable motion tracking. The camera will follow detected motion.
• Pan Scan (Patrol Mode): Configure the camera to cycle through saved waypoints at set intervals.
