1. Introduction

The EMAY SleepO2 Pro is a wrist-worn pulse oximeter designed for continuous overnight monitoring of blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate (PR), and breathing flow. 3. Device Overview

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the EMAY SleepO2 Pro device. Connect the USB charging cable to the device and the power adapter, then plug it into a power outlet. The device has a battery life of approximately 15 hours on a full charge.

4.2 Assembly and Wearing

  1. Attach the main unit to the wristband and secure it comfortably on your wrist.
  2. Connect the soft silicone SpO2 finger sensor to the designated port on the main unit. Place the sensor on your finger, ensuring a snug but comfortable fit.
  3. Connect one end of the nasal tube to the tube connector on the main unit. Gently place the nasal prongs into your nostrils.

5. Operation

5.1 Starting a Recording

To begin monitoring, press and hold the power button on the main unit until the screen activates. The device will automatically start recording SpO2, pulse rate, and breathing flow once the sensors are properly connected and stable readings are detected. Ensure the finger sensor is securely placed and the nasal tube is correctly positioned for accurate data collection.

5.2 Real-time Display

The device's screen displays real-time data, including:

  • SpO2 (%): Blood oxygen saturation level.
  • PR (bpm): Pulse rate in beats per minute.
  • SpO2 Waveform: Visual representation of SpO2 changes.
  • Flow Waveform: Visual representation of breathing flow.

5.3 Alarms

The EMAY SleepO2 Pro features adjustable alarms that will alert you if readings drop below a set limit. Refer to the device settings for customizing alarm thresholds.

5.4 Ending a Recording

To stop recording, press and hold the power button until the device powers off. The recorded data will be saved automatically to the device's internal 8GB storage.

6. Data Management & Software

The EMAY SleepO2 Pro stores up to 8GB of data, allowing for extensive recording. To review and analyze your overnight data, use the dedicated PC software or the mobile application.

6.1 PC Software (Windows & macOS)

  1. Download and install the EMAY PC software from the official EMAY website.
  2. Connect the SleepO2 Pro device to your computer using the provided USB cable.
  3. Launch the software. It will automatically detect the device and allow you to download recorded data.
  4. The software provides detailed analysis, including SpO2 and flow trend graphs, Oxygen Desaturation Index (ODI), and Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI) data.
  5. You can export summary reports in PDF format to share with your physician.

6.2 Mobile Application (iOS & Android)

The EMAY SleepO2 Pro also supports a mobile application for iOS and Android devices. Download the 'EMAY Pulse Oximeter' app from your device's app store. Use the app to connect to your device and view your sleep data. The app allows for convenient review of your overnight blood oxygen levels and pulse rate.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the device, finger sensor, and nasal tubes to ensure hygiene and proper function.

  • Main Unit: Wipe the main unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
  • SpO2 Finger Sensor: Clean the silicone sensor with a soft cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol. Allow it to air dry completely before storage or next use.
  • Nasal Tubes: The nasal tubes are designed for single-use. However, if used by the same person, they can be reused a couple of times after thorough disinfection. Disinfect by washing with mild soap and water, rinsing thoroughly, and allowing to air dry completely.

7.2 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, charge the device regularly. Avoid completely draining the battery or storing the device for extended periods without charge.

7.3 Storage

Store the EMAY SleepO2 Pro in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it in its original packaging or a protective case when not in use.

8. Troubleshooting

  • No Reading/Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the finger sensor is clean, dry, and securely placed on your finger. Avoid excessive movement during measurement. Check that the nasal tube is correctly connected and positioned.
