Setup and Installation

Before You Begin:

• Turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
• Ensure you have all necessary tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, etc.) and the included mounting hardware.
• This fixture is designed to be mounted to a standard electrical junction box (not included).

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Mounting Plate: Attach the mounting plate to your electrical junction box using the screws provided in the hardware kit. Ensure the plate is securely fastened.
2. Make Electrical Connections:
   • Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box.
   • Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box.
   • Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box and to the mounting plate.
   • Secure all connections with wire nuts and wrap with electrical tape for added safety.
3. Mount the Fixture: Carefully align the fixture body with the mounting plate and secure it using the provided screws or nuts. Ensure no wires are pinched during this step.
4. Install Bulbs: Screw in two T8 Candelabra bulbs (max 60W each) into the sockets. Do not overtighten.
5. Attach Glass Shades: Carefully place the clear glass shades over the bulb sockets and secure them according to the fixture design (e.g., using retaining rings or screws).
6. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker. Test the light fixture.

Operating Instructions

Once installed, the Minka Lavery Tiberia Vanity Bath Light operates like any standard wall-mounted light fixture. It is controlled by a wall switch (not included) connected to the electrical circuit.

• Turning On/Off: Use the connected wall switch to turn the light fixture on or off.
