4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Smartwatch

Before first use, fully charge your Lamax BCool Smartwatch. Connect the magnetic charging cable to the charging points on the back of the watch and plug the USB end into a power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The watch will display a charging indicator. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.

4.2 Pairing with Your Smartphone

1. Download the companion app (e.g., 'LAMAX BCool App') from your smartphone's app store (available for Android and iOS).
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
3. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and pair your smartwatch. You may need to confirm a pairing request on the watch screen.
4. Once paired, the watch will synchronize time and activity data with your phone.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Navigation

The Lamax BCool Smartwatch features a 1.4-inch touchscreen display. Swipe left, right, up, or down to navigate through menus and functions. Tap to select an option or confirm an action.

5.2 Time Display and Watch Faces

The main screen displays the time. You can customize the watch face by pressing and holding the screen, then swiping through the available options. More watch faces can be found and customized via the companion app.

5.3 Notifications

When paired with your smartphone, the watch will vibrate and display notifications for incoming calls, SMS messages, and alerts from selected applications (e.g., TikTok). You can manage which app notifications appear on the watch through the companion app settings.

5.4 Activity Tracking

The watch automatically tracks steps, distance, and calories burned. It also supports specific sports modes like cycling, hiking, and running. Access these modes from the main menu to start tracking your activity.

5.5 Health Monitoring

• Heart Rate: The watch can measure your heart rate throughout the day. Access the heart rate function from the menu to view your current reading.
• Sleep Quality: Wear the watch during sleep to monitor your sleep patterns and quality. Data is synchronized and viewable in the companion app.

5.6 Games

The smartwatch includes four logic, math, and insight games to provide entertainment. Navigate to the 'Games' section in the menu to access them.

5.7 Music Control

When connected to your smartphone, you can control music playback directly from your watch, including play, pause, skip tracks, and volume adjustment.

5.8 Find My Phone/Watch

If you misplace your paired smartphone, use the 'Find My Phone' function on the watch to make your phone ring. Similarly, if you misplace your watch, use the companion app to locate it.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the watch and straps regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the device.

7.2 Water Resistance

The Lamax BCool Smartwatch is IP68 rated, meaning it is resistant to dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. It is suitable for everyday use, such as washing hands or light rain. However, it is not recommended for swimming, showering with hot water, or diving, as steam and high water pressure can compromise the seals.

7.3 Strap Replacement

The watch features a standardized strap attachment system, allowing for easy replacement of straps. To change a strap, locate the quick-release pins on the underside of the strap where it connects to the watch body. Slide the pin to detach the strap, then align the new strap and re-insert the pin.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Watch Not Turning On

• Ensure the watch is fully charged. Connect it to the charger for at least 30 minutes.
• Press and hold the side button for several seconds to attempt a power-on.

8.2 Unable to Pair with Phone

• Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the watch is within range.
• Restart both your phone and the smartwatch.
• Ensure the companion app is updated to the latest version.
• If previously paired, try unpairing the device from your phone's Bluetooth settings and then re-pairing through the app.

8.3 Notifications Not Appearing

• Check the notification settings within the companion app to ensure app notifications are enabled for the watch.
• Verify that the watch is properly connected to your phone via Bluetooth.
• Ensure your phone's notification settings allow the companion app to send notifications.

8.4 Inaccurate Activity Data

• Ensure the watch is worn snugly on the wrist, not too loose or too tight.
• Check your personal information (height, weight, age) in the companion app, as this affects calculation accuracy.
• Restart the watch and phone to refresh data synchronization.
