1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the HCDZ Replacement Remote Control, designed for use with various Epson 3LCD 4K Large Venue Laser Projectors. This remote offers direct functionality without the need for programming.

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the cover downwards or press the latch and lift to open the compartment.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover, sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

2.2 Initial Use

Once batteries are correctly installed, the remote control is ready for immediate use. No programming or pairing is required. Point the remote directly at your Epson projector's infrared (IR) sensor.
