1. Important Safety Instructions

READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS.

  • Electrical Hazard: Disconnect the electric power before servicing. This control is not provided with integral GFCI protection for the lighting circuit. When this control is used to power or switch an underwater luminaire, suitable GFCI protection must be provided in the field.
  • Placement: Prevent electrocution. Install at least 5 ft (1.5 m) from inside wall of spa or pool.
  • Power Requirements: Input: 120 VAC, 60 Hz, 2.5 A. Output: 120 VAC, 60 Hz, 300 W max.
  • Circuit Protection: Supply Circuit shall be protected by a maximum 15 A overcurrent. Use 2-conductors, AWG 12 Maximum.
  • Wiring: USE COPPER CONDUCTORS ONLY.
  • Installation: Suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Non-serviceable product. Must be installed in a LISTED junction box with a minimum 22.5 in³ (370 cm³) internal volume. CAUTION: READ THE INSTALLATION GUIDE.

3. Setup and Installation

Installation should be performed by a qualified professional in accordance with all local electrical codes.

  1. Power Disconnection: Ensure all power to the circuit is disconnected at the main breaker before beginning installation.
  2. Mounting Location: Select a suitable location for the controller, ensuring it is at least 5 ft (1.5 m) from the inside wall of the pool or spa. The controller is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
  3. Junction Box: Install the controller in a LISTED junction box with a minimum internal volume of 22.5 in³ (370 cm³).
  4. Wiring Connections:
    • Connect the LINE (hot) wire to the terminal marked 'LINE'.
    • Connect the NEUTRAL wire to the terminal marked 'NEUTRAL'.
    • Connect the LOAD wire (to the pool/spa light) to the terminal marked 'LOAD'.
    • Ensure all connections use copper conductors only and are protected by a maximum 15 A overcurrent device.
  5. Secure Installation: Mount the controller securely within the junction box using the provided screws.
  6. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power to the circuit.

4. Operating Instructions

The IntelliBrite Controller allows for easy selection of various light colors and modes for your pool and spa lights.

4.1. Color and Mode Selection

4.3. App Control (If Applicable)

Some IntelliBrite systems may support control via a mobile application. If your system includes Wi-Fi connectivity, refer to the separate instructions provided with your Wi-Fi module for app setup and operation. The app typically offers advanced scheduling and customization options.

5. Maintenance

6. Troubleshooting
