Important Precautions:
- DO NOT press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water. This can compromise the water seal.
- DO NOT use the watch in hot water, saunas, or steam rooms. Extreme temperatures and steam can damage the watch's seals and internal components.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme cold.
Maintenance
Cleaning:
Wipe the watch case and strap regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing with clean water and drying thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Battery Replacement:
The watch is powered by a high-quality Japanese sports battery. When the display dims or functions become erratic, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is properly maintained.
Storage:
When not in use for extended periods, store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- Digital Display is Blank or Dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Incorrect Time Display: Re-set the time and date following the instructions in the 'Setup' section. Ensure the 12/24 hour format is correctly selected.
- Alarm Not Sounding: Check if the alarm is activated (alarm icon visible). Ensure the alarm time is set correctly.
- Water Inside the Watch: If moisture appears inside the watch, stop using it immediately and take it to a professional watch repair service. This indicates a compromised water seal.
