Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Pot does not turn on. | Not plugged in, power switch off, or power outage. | Ensure power cord is securely plugged into both the pot and a working 120V outlet. Check that the control switch is set to "LOW" or "HIGH". Verify power supply. |
| Pot automatically shuts off during use. | Overheat or dry-boil protection activated. | This is a safety feature. Unplug the pot and allow it to cool down. Check for sufficient liquid or food inside before restarting. |
| Food sticks to the bottom. | Insufficient oil or food cooked at too high a temperature without stirring. | Ensure a small amount of cooking oil is used for frying. Stir food regularly, especially on the "HIGH" setting. Adjust to "LOW" for gentler cooking. |
| Water or liquid boils over. | Pot is overfilled or heat setting is too high. | Do not fill past the maximum line. Reduce heat setting to "LOW" or remove the lid to reduce boiling intensity. |
