3. Setup
Battery Installation
- Turn the scale upside down to locate the battery compartment on the underside.
- Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the four screws securing the battery compartment cover.
- Remove the cover.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and securely fasten the four screws.

4. Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To turn on: Press the Power (⑂) button. The LED display will illuminate and show "0.0" when ready.
- To turn off: Press and hold the Power (⑂) button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale also features an auto shut-off function to conserve battery life.
Changing Units
- With the scale on, press the Unit button (🍻 icon) to cycle through available measurement units: grams (g), milliliters (ml), pounds and ounces (lb:oz), and fluid ounces (fl oz).
Tare Function
The TARE function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients in the same container or to exclude the weight of a container.
- Place an empty container on the scale. The display will show its weight.
- Press the Tare button (⌫ icon). The display will reset to "0.0".
- Add your first ingredient. The display will show only the weight of the ingredient.
- To add another ingredient, press the Tare button again to reset the display to "0.0", then add the next ingredient. Repeat as needed.
Hold Function
The HOLD feature allows you to lock the displayed weight, even after the item is removed from the scale.
- Place the item to be weighed on the scale.
- Once the weight stabilizes, press the Hold button. The displayed weight will be locked.
- You can now remove the item, and the weight will remain visible on the display. Press the Hold button again to clear the display or turn the scale off.

- Dry the scale completely after cleaning before storage.

KitchenAid products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship.
