4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Screen

To clean the monitor screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a specialized screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or spraying liquid directly onto the screen.

4.2 General Care

Keep the monitor in a clean, dry environment. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, or high humidity. Ensure proper ventilation around the monitor to prevent overheating.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Power / No Display:
    • Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and a working power outlet.
    • Verify that the power button on the monitor is pressed.
    • Check the video cable connection between the monitor and your computer.
    • Try a different power outlet or video cable.
  • No Signal:
    • Confirm the correct input source is selected in the OSD menu (e.g., DisplayPort, HDMI 1, HDMI 2).
    • Ensure your computer is powered on and not in sleep mode.
    • Test with a different video cable or port.
  • Display Flickering (e.g., with MacBook):
    • Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date.
    • Try adjusting the refresh rate in your computer's display settings.
    • Test with a different cable or adapter, especially if using a USB-C to DisplayPort/HDMI adapter.
  • Slow Wake-up from Sleep:
    • The monitor may take approximately 7-10 seconds to power up from a sleep state. This is normal operation.
  • Poor Sound Quality from Internal Speakers:
    • The integrated speakers are designed for basic audio. For higher quality audio, external speakers or headphones are recommended.
