1. Product Overview

2. Setup

The BOMAZ ERF2A60 remote control is designed for immediate use with compatible Hisense Smart 4K TV models without requiring any complex programming or pairing procedures.

2.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards or outwards to open it.
  3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the indicators inside the compartment. Note: Batteries are not included.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

3. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the functions of each button on your remote control.

Button Function
Power (⏻) Turns the TV on or off.
INPUT Cycles through available input sources (HDMI, AV, etc.).
0-9 (Number Pad) Directly selects TV channels or enters numerical values.
- (Dash) Used for entering sub-channels (e.g., 7-1) or specific numerical inputs.
CC (Closed Caption) Activates or deactivates closed captions.
Colored Buttons (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue) Context-sensitive functions within menus or applications. Refer to on-screen prompts.
≡ (Menu/Options) Accesses the main menu or options for the current screen.
TV Switches to the TV tuner input.
Navigation Pad (Up, Down, Left, Right) Navigates through menus and options.

Please note: This remote control does not support voice functions.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or it stops functioning. Always replace both batteries simultaneously with new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

4.2 Cleaning

To clean the remote control, gently wipe its surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's finish or internal components.

4.3 Storage

Store the remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. If the remote will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your remote control, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Remote is unresponsive.
  • Batteries are dead or low: Replace with fresh AAA batteries.
  • Batteries inserted incorrectly: Check polarity (+/-) and reinsert.

Some buttons do not work.

Remote works intermittently.
  • Low batteries: Replace batteries.
