3. Setup

3.1 App Installation and Account Registration

  1. Download the "Findthing" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  2. Open the Findthing app.
  3. Tap "Login" and then "Create a new account".
  4. Select your country and enter your phone number, or choose to register with email (e.g., Google Mail).
  5. Follow the prompts to complete registration.

3.2 Device Pairing

  1. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled.
  2. In the Findthing app, tap the "+" icon or "Add Device".
  3. Long press the button on the Nutale Key Finder for 5 seconds until it plays a sound, indicating it's powered on and ready to pair.
  4. The app will detect the device and connect automatically.
  5. Choose a category for the device (e.g., "Key", "Wallet").

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Finding a Misplaced Item

  1. Open the Findthing app on your smartphone.
  2. Select the desired Nutale Key Finder from your device list.
  3. Tap the "Call" button in the app. The key finder will emit a loud sound (up to 100dB) to help you locate it.

4.2 Finding Your Phone

Double-press the button on your Nutale Key Finder. Your phone will ring, even if it's on silent mode (ensure app permissions allow this).

4.3 Effective Range

The Bluetooth connection range is approximately 30 meters (98 feet) indoors and up to 50 meters (164 feet) outdoors, depending on environmental conditions.

5. Battery Information and Replacement

The Nutale Key Finder uses a CR2032 coin cell battery. The battery can last up to 12 months under normal usage.

5.1 Battery Replacement Procedure

  1. Carefully open the device casing.
  2. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Close the device casing securely.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Device Not Connecting

  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  • Make sure the key finder is within Bluetooth range.
  • Check if the key finder battery is depleted.
  • Restart the Findthing app and try pairing again.

6.2 Key Finder Not Ringing
