This manual provides comprehensive instructions to help you set up, operate, and maintain your new radio.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the radio. Connect the included USB charging cable to the radio's DC 5V charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included), mobile battery, or computer USB port. The battery indicator on the display will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 3 to 4 hours and provides over 14 hours of playback.

3.2 Inserting TF Card (for MP3 Playback)

To use the MP3 player function, insert a TF (MicroSD) card (up to 128GB, not included) into the TF card slot on the side of the radio. Ensure the card is inserted correctly with the gold contacts facing down.

3.3 Connecting Headphones

For private listening, connect the included 3.5mm stereo earphones to the earphone port on the top of the radio. The radio will automatically switch audio output to the earphones when connected.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (MODE button) to turn the radio on or off.

4.2 Mode Selection (Radio/MP3)

Use the function switch on the side of the radio to select between FM, OFF, and MP3 modes. Slide the switch to the desired mode.

4.3 Radio Operation (FM/AM/SW)

  • Band Selection: In radio mode, short press the MODE button to cycle through FM, AM, and SW bands.
  • Automatic Tuning (ATS): Press and hold the MEM button to initiate automatic station scanning and storage. The radio can store up to 90 stations across all bands (FM, AM, SW).
  • Manual Tuning: Short press the TUN+ or TUN- buttons to fine-tune the frequency.
  • Recalling Stored Stations: Short press the + or - buttons (volume buttons) to cycle through stored stations.

4.4 MP3 Playback

  • Ensure a TF card with MP3/WAV audio files is inserted.
  • Slide the function switch to MP3 mode.
  • The radio will automatically begin playing audio files.
  • Short press TUN+ or TUN- to skip to the next or previous track.

4.5 Volume Control

Short press the + button to increase volume and the - button to decrease volume.

4.6 Digital Clock and Alarm Function

  • Setting Time: In clock display mode, long press the MEM button to enter time setting. Use TUN+/TUN- to adjust values and MODE to confirm and move to the next setting.
  • Setting Alarm: Long press the MODE button to enter alarm setting. Adjust the alarm time using TUN+/TUN- and confirm with MODE. You can set the alarm to play the radio.
  • Backlight: The display features a white backlight for easy viewing in low light conditions.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the radio regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
  • Storage: Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
  • Water Resistance: This device is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to rain or moisture.
