5. Setup and Connection

5.1 Locating the USB Receiver

The USB receiver is stored in a compartment on the underside of the mouse. Gently remove the bottom cover to access it.

5.2 2.4G Wireless Connection

1. Take out the USB receiver from the mouse's bottom compartment.
2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer.
3. Slide the power switch on the bottom of the mouse to the 'ON' position and select the 2.4G mode (indicated by a specific LED color, refer to mouse for details).
4. The mouse should connect automatically.

5.3 Bluetooth Connection (BT1 / BT2)

1. Slide the power switch on the bottom of the mouse to the 'ON' position.
2. Press the connection mode button on the bottom of the mouse to select either BT1 or BT2 mode. The corresponding LED indicator will flash.
3. On your device (computer, tablet, phone), open Bluetooth settings.
4. Search for new devices and select "iClever MD165" from the list.
5. Once paired, the LED indicator will stop flashing.

5.4 Switching Between Connected Devices

To switch between connected devices (2.4G, BT1, BT2), simply press the connection mode button on the bottom of the mouse. The LED indicator will show the currently active connection mode.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Use the ON/OFF switch located on the bottom of the mouse to power it on or off.

6.2 DPI Adjustment

Press the DPI button (located behind the scroll wheel) to cycle through the four DPI settings: 800, 1200, 1600, and 2400. This adjusts the cursor sensitivity and speed.

6.3 Forward/Backward Buttons

The side buttons function as Forward and Backward navigation in web browsers and other applications. Note: These buttons are not compatible with macOS and iOS operating systems.

6.4 Charging the Mouse

Connect the provided USB-A to USB-C charging cable to the Type-C port on the front of the mouse and to a USB power source. The mouse can be used while charging. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

6.5 Power Saving Mode

To conserve battery, the mouse will automatically enter a power-saving sleep mode after a period of inactivity. To wake it up, simply press any button.

Important Compatibility Notes:

• Not compatible with Mac mini, Mac Studio, XBOX, Samsung Smart TV, Nokia Phones, and certain Bluetooth adapters.
• Forward and backward buttons do not function in macOS and iOS.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Mouse Not Working

• Ensure the mouse is charged. Charge for at least 2 hours.
• Verify the mouse is powered on and the correct connection mode (2.4G, BT1, or BT2) is selected.
• For 2.4G connection, try moving the USB receiver to a different USB-A port on your computer.
• Test the mouse and receiver on a different computer to isolate the issue.
• Avoid using the wireless mouse on metal surfaces, as this can interfere with the signal.

8.2 Delay or Buttons Not Responding Correctly

• Ensure the mouse or receiver is connected directly to the computer, not through a hub, extender, or switch.
• Move the mouse closer to the USB receiver (for 2.4G mode). If the receiver is in a rear port, try a front port.
• Minimize interference by keeping other wireless devices (e.g., wireless speakers, monitors, cell phones) away from the USB receiver.
• Remove any other wireless adapters/receivers from your computer, except for the iClever receiver.
• Check for any background operating system updates that might be causing system delays.
