3. Setup and Installation

This heater is designed for wall mounting. Follow these steps for safe and proper installation.

• Drill
• Screwdriver
• Measuring tape
• Pencil

Installation Steps:

1. Choose a suitable wall location, ensuring it is away from water sources, flammable materials, and out of reach of children. Maintain a minimum clearance of 1 meter (3 feet) from any obstructions.
2. Using the provided mounting template (if included) or by measuring the heater's mounting points, mark the drill holes on the wall.
3. Drill holes at the marked positions and insert wall anchors (if necessary for your wall type).
4. Secure the mounting bracket (if separate) to the wall using screws.
5. Carefully lift the heater and align its mounting slots with the bracket or screws on the wall.
6. Slide the heater down to secure it in place. Ensure it is firmly attached to the wall before plugging it in.

4. Operating Instructions

Operate your HOMCOM electric heater using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

Power On/Off:

• Plug the heater into a suitable power outlet (240V).
• Press the Power button (On/Off) on the control panel or remote to turn the unit on or off.

Adjusting Temperature:

• Once powered on, use the Temperature Up (+) or Temperature Down (-) buttons to set your desired temperature between 10°C and 49°C. The LED display will show the set temperature.

Selecting Heating Modes:

The heater offers three operating modes:

• Press the Mode button (often indicated by a fan or wave icon) to cycle through the modes:
• Fan Only: Circulates air without heating.
• Low Heat (1000W): Provides moderate heating.
• High Heat (2000W): Provides maximum heating power.

Setting the Timer:

The timer allows you to set the heater to automatically turn off after a specified period (1 to 12 hours).

• Press the Timer button on the control panel or remote.
• Use the Temperature Up (+) or Temperature Down (-) buttons to adjust the desired timer duration in hours.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and proper storage will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your heater.

Cleaning:

1. Always unplug the heater from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
3. Ensure no water enters the interior of the heater.
4. Gently vacuum or wipe the air inlet and outlet grilles to remove dust and debris.

Storage:

• If storing the heater for an extended period, clean it thoroughly as described above.
• Store the heater in its original packaging or a suitable dust-free container in a cool, dry place.
• Do not wrap the power cord tightly around the heater.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your heater, refer to the following common problems and solutions.

• Heater does not turn on:
  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Check if the main power switch on the unit (if present) is in the 'On' position.
  • Verify that the room thermostat is set higher than the current room temperature.
• Heater stops working unexpectedly:
  • The overheat protection system may have activated. Unplug the heater and allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes before plugging it back in and restarting.
  • Check for any obstructions blocking the air intake or outlet grilles.
