1. Introduction

The ANRAN Q1 Wireless Outdoor Security Camera is designed to provide comprehensive surveillance for your home or property. Featuring 2K Ultra HD resolution, 360° pan and tilt capabilities, solar power, and advanced night vision, this camera offers reliable monitoring with convenient features like two-way audio and smart detection.

3.1 Camera Design and Features

The ANRAN Q1 camera features a robust design with dual antennas for stable 2.4G WiFi connectivity (5G WiFi is not supported). It provides 2K resolution for clear video, supports two-way audio communication, and includes motion alert capabilities. Storage options include TF card (up to 128GB, not included) and cloud storage. It also offers color night vision, is IP65 waterproof, and is compatible with Alexa and Google Home for smart integration. PIR and person detection enhance security by reducing false alarms.

3.2 Pan & Tilt Functionality

The camera offers a wide viewing angle with 355° horizontal pan and 90° vertical tilt, allowing you to remotely adjust the camera's perspective to cover a large area and eliminate blind spots.

3.3 Night Vision Modes

The ANRAN Q1 camera provides three distinct night vision modes: Infrared Mode for standard black and white night vision, Color Mode which utilizes built-in spotlights for full-color night vision, and Alarm Mode which activates spotlights and a siren upon detection to deter intruders.

With an IP65 weather resistance rating, the ANRAN Q1 camera is designed to withstand various outdoor conditions, ensuring reliable operation in rain, snow, and extreme temperatures ranging from -25°C (-13°F) to 60°C (140°F).

4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your ANRAN Q1 camera:

1. Charge the Camera: Before installation, fully charge the camera using the provided USB cable.
2. Download the App: Download the "CloudEdge" app from your smartphone's app store (available on Google Play and Apple App Store).
3. Create an Account: Open the CloudEdge app and register a new account or log in if you already have one.
4. Add Device: In the app, tap the '+' icon to add a new device. Select your camera model.
5. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is also connected to the same 2.4GHz network. Note: 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported.
6. Mount the Camera:
   • Choose a suitable location for installation, ensuring good Wi-Fi signal and adequate sunlight exposure for the solar panel.
   • Use the included screw pack and mounting template (if provided) to securely attach the camera and solar panel to a wall or desired surface.
   • Connect the solar panel cable to the camera.

7. Final Adjustments: Once mounted, use the app to adjust the camera's pan and tilt angles to achieve the desired viewing area.

5. Operating the Camera

Learn how to utilize the various functions of your ANRAN Q1 camera through the CloudEdge app.

• Live View: Access real-time video feed from your camera anytime, anywhere via the app.
• Pan & Tilt Control: Use the directional controls within the app to remotely adjust the camera's horizontal (355°) and vertical (90°) viewing angles.
• Two-Way Audio: Utilize the built-in microphone and speaker to communicate with visitors or deter unwanted individuals.

• Motion Detection & Alerts: The camera features PIR human detection to minimize false alarms. When motion is detected, you will receive instant notifications on your smartphone.

• Solar Panel Efficiency: Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from dust, dirt, or obstructions to maximize charging efficiency. Periodically wipe it with a soft, damp cloth.
• Battery Life: The solar panel provides continuous power. In periods of low sunlight, the camera's internal battery will be utilized. If the battery level drops significantly, you may need to manually charge it via the USB port.
