1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for installing and operating the eXtremeRate RISE Remap Kit for your PlayStation 5 (PS5) controller. This kit allows you to add programmable back paddles, transforming your standard controller into an elite eSport controller. 2. Compatibility

This eXtremeRate RISE Remap Kit is compatible only with PS5 controller models BDM-010 and BDM-020. It is not compatible with BDM-030 or newer models.

4. Setup and Installation

Installation of this kit requires disassembling your PS5 controller. Please proceed with caution. Soldering is optional for basic functionality but may be required for advanced features (e.g., L3/R3, Touchpad remapping).

5. Operating Instructions (Button Remapping)

The eXtremeRate RISE Remap Kit allows you to assign up to 15 different controller buttons to the two back paddles. This includes X, O, Triangle, Square, Up, Down, Left, Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, L3, R3, and the Touchpad Button.

Remapping Process:

  1. Enter Programming Mode: Press and hold the Setting Button (located on the back of the controller) for 3 seconds until the LED Indicator (also on the back) blinks slowly.
  2. Assign a Button: Press the back paddle you wish to program, then press the face button or trigger you want to assign to it.
  3. Save Setting: Press the Setting Button again to exit programming mode. The LED Indicator will turn off, confirming the new assignment is saved.
  4. Repeat for Second Paddle: Follow the same steps to program the other back paddle.
