1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your UpBright 13.5V AC/DC Adapter. This adapter is designed to be compatible with Jobsmart 2800 Lumen High Intensity Rechargeable HID Spotlight models L17-1306 and L171306, as well as Worklight WJ-Y111350500W. It functions as a switching Class 2 power supply, battery charger, and mains PSU.

3. Setup

Setting up your UpBright AC/DC Adapter is a straightforward process. Ensure you are connecting it to a compatible device and a suitable power outlet.

1. Verify Compatibility: Confirm that your device (e.g., Jobsmart Spotlight L17-1306, L171306, or Worklight WJ-Y111350500W) requires a 13.5V DC input with a current draw of 500mA or less. Check your device's specifications or original charger for voltage and current requirements.
2. Connect to Device: Insert the DC barrel connector of the UpBright adapter firmly into the power input port of your Jobsmart spotlight or worklight.
3. Connect to Power Outlet: Plug the AC prongs of the adapter into a standard 100-240VAC 50/60Hz wall outlet.
4. Power On: Once connected, your device should begin charging or power on, depending on its design.

Important: Always ensure the adapter's specifications match your device's requirements to prevent damage.

4. Operating Instructions

The UpBright AC/DC Adapter operates automatically once connected to a power source and a compatible device. It provides a stable 13.5V DC output for charging or powering your equipment.

• Charging: When connected to a rechargeable device, the adapter will supply power to charge the internal battery. The charging indicator on your device (if available) will typically show the charging status.
• Direct Power: For devices that can operate directly from external power, the adapter will provide continuous power as long as it is plugged into an active outlet.

Note: The adapter itself does not have indicator lights. Refer to your device's manual for specific charging or power indicators.
