5. Setup and Accessory Installation

5.1. Installing the Keyless Chuck

5.2. Installing a Sanding Band

  1. Unplug the rotary tool.

  3. Slide the sanding band onto the rubber drum of the sanding shank.
  4. Insert the sanding shank into the keyless chuck and tighten securely.

5.4. Installing the Cutting Guide

  1. Unplug the rotary tool.
  2. Attach the cutting guide to the tool's head.
  3. Adjust the depth of the cutting guide as needed for your application.

5.5. Installing the Flexible Shaft

  1. Unplug the rotary tool.
  2. Unscrew the collet nut and remove the collet from the rotary tool.
  3. Insert the drive shaft of the flexible shaft into the collet opening of the rotary tool.
  4. Secure the flexible shaft by tightening the collet nut onto the tool.
  5. Insert the desired accessory into the chuck of the flexible shaft and tighten.
