3. Setup and Installation

Professional installation is recommended for car audio systems. Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before beginning installation.

Wiring Connections

  • Power Connection: Connect the yellow wire to the constant 12V supply, the red wire to the accessory 12V supply (switched by ignition), and the black wire to ground.
  • Speaker Connections: Connect the speaker wires to the corresponding positive and negative terminals. Ensure correct polarity for optimal sound.
  • Antenna Connection: Connect the car's radio antenna to the antenna input on the rear of the unit.

4. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Press the PWR/MOD button to turn the unit on.
  • Press and hold the PWR/MOD button to turn the unit off.

Source Selection

Press the PWR/MOD button repeatedly to cycle through available sources: Radio (FM/AM), Cassette, USB, Bluetooth (BT), AUX, and Memory Card (SD).

Volume Control

Rotate the central knob clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.

Radio Operation

  • In Radio mode, press BND/AMS to switch between FM1, FM2, FM3, and AM bands.
  • Press the forward/backward buttons to manually tune frequencies.
  • Press and hold the forward/backward buttons for automatic station seeking.
  • To save a station, tune to the desired frequency, then press and hold one of the numbered preset buttons (1-6) until you hear a beep.

Cassette Playback

  • Insert a cassette tape into the slot. The unit should automatically switch to Cassette mode and begin playback.
  • Use the forward/backward buttons for fast forward or rewind.

USB/Memory Card Playback

  • Insert a USB drive into the USB port or a memory card into the SD card slot. The unit will automatically switch to the respective mode and begin playback.
  • Use the forward/backward buttons to skip tracks.
  • Press the Play/Pause button (often integrated with the central knob or a dedicated button) to pause or resume playback.

Bluetooth Operation

  • Switch the unit to BT mode. The display will show "BT PAIRING" or similar.
  • On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select "RS-2210" (or similar name) from the list.
  • Once paired, you can play audio from your smartphone through the car stereo.
  • Use the unit's controls or your smartphone to manage playback (play/pause, skip tracks).

Mobile App Control

This unit supports control via a mobile application. Download the compatible app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the app's instructions for connecting and controlling the RS-2210.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the unit's front panel. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
