Setup
1. Powering the Main Unit
- Connect the provided AC power adapter to the main unit and plug it into a power outlet.
- For backup power, insert 3x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. This ensures continuous operation during power outages.
2. Powering the Outdoor Sensor
- Open the battery compartment on the outdoor sensor.
- Insert 2x AA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment securely to maintain water resistance.
3. Pairing the Sensor
The main unit and outdoor sensor should automatically pair within a few minutes after both are powered on. If pairing does not occur, press the 'SENSOR' button on the back of the main unit to initiate a manual search.
4. Sensor Placement
Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded area, protected from direct sunlight and rain, to ensure accurate temperature and humidity readings. The sensor has a wireless range of up to 100 meters (unobstructed).
