3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Battery
- Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
- Connect the charger to a power outlet.
- Insert the battery into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charger and unplug the charger from the outlet.
3.2 Installing the Battery
- Align the charged battery with the battery slot on the chainsaw handle.
- Slide the battery into the slot until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove the battery, press the release button (if present) and slide the battery out.
3.3 Chain and Guide Plate Installation (Pre-installed)
The mini chainsaw typically comes with the chain and guide plate pre-installed. If re-installation is required, refer to the following:
- Ensure the chainsaw is powered off and the battery is removed before any installation or adjustment.
- Place the chain around the guide plate, ensuring the cutting edges are facing the correct direction.
- Mount the guide plate and chain onto the chainsaw body.
- Adjust the chain tension. The chain should be snug but still able to be pulled slightly away from the guide bar. It should not sag underneath.
- Tighten the retaining nuts or screws to secure the guide plate.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Starting the Chainsaw
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely installed.
- Hold the chainsaw firmly with one hand.
- Press and hold the safety lock button.
- While holding the safety lock button, press the power switch button to start the chainsaw.
- Release the safety lock button once the chainsaw is running.

4.2 Cutting Techniques
- General Cutting: The chainsaw is suitable for cutting wood and PVC. It can cut wood with a diameter of approximately 80mm in about 10 seconds.
- Pruning Branches: Position the chainsaw firmly against the branch. Apply steady, even pressure. Avoid forcing the saw through the material.
- One-Handed Operation: The ergonomic design allows for comfortable one-handed use, reducing fatigue during extended tasks.
- Material Compatibility: This tool is designed for cutting bamboo, branches, wood, and PVC pipes.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Chain Oiling and Cleaning
- After each use, ensure the chainsaw is powered off and the battery is removed.
- Apply a small amount of chain oil to the chain and guide bar. This helps reduce friction and wear.
- Wipe down the chainsaw body with a clean, dry cloth. Do not wash with water.
- Regularly check the chain for sharpness and damage. Replace dull or damaged chains promptly.
5.2 Battery Care
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Do not store the battery completely discharged for extended periods. Charge it periodically if not in use.
