Setup

Mounting the Sight

The React Pro sight is designed for easy installation on most compound bows. Ensure your bow is securely held in a vise or stable position before beginning installation. Attach the sight to the bow's riser using the appropriate mounting screws. Verify that the sight is level and securely fastened to prevent movement during use.

Initial Sight-In with React Technology

The React Technology simplifies the sight-in process. Begin by sighting in your 20-yard pin. Once the 20-yard pin is accurately set, proceed to sight in your 30-yard pin. The React Technology will then automatically calibrate the remaining pins (40, 50, and 60 yards) based on these two initial settings. Fine-tune adjustments can be made using the tool-less micro-adjustment knobs for windage and elevation.

Operating Instructions

Using the Sight Pins

After successful sight-in, use the appropriate pin for your target distance. The pins are calibrated for 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 yards. Always confirm your target distance before selecting a pin. The ultra-bright fiber optics ensure clear visibility of the pins in varying light conditions.

Adjustable Click Light

The sight includes an adjustable click light to illuminate the fiber optic pins in extremely low light or dark environments. To activate, rotate the light's knob. Adjust the brightness by continuing to rotate the knob. This light is designed to illuminate only the fiber optics, preventing excess light spill that could distract or spook game.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the sight with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect all screws and mounting hardware to ensure they are tight. Check the fiber optic pins for any damage or fraying.
  • Storage: Store the sight in a dry, protected environment when not in use to prevent corrosion and damage.
  • Battery Replacement: If the adjustable click light dims or stops working, replace its battery. Refer to the light's specific instructions for battery type and replacement procedure.

Troubleshooting

Accuracy Issues

  • Inconsistent Grouping:
    • Ensure all sight mounting screws are securely tightened.
    • Verify that your bow's draw weight and arrow speed are consistent. The React system performs optimally with arrow speeds of at least 240 fps. If your setup is slower, the automatic pin calibration may be less accurate. Consider having your bow chronographed at a pro shop.
    • Check for any loose components on the sight itself, including the pin adjustments and locking knobs.
  • Pins Not Aligning Correctly:
    • Re-perform the initial 20-yard and 30-yard sight-in procedure carefully, ensuring precise adjustments at each distance.
    • Confirm that the 2nd and 3rd axis leveling adjustments are correctly set for your shooting style and bow setup.

Adjustable Light Not Working

  • No Illumination:
    • Check if the battery is correctly installed and not depleted. Replace with a new battery if necessary.
    • Ensure the light's knob is fully rotated to the 'on' position.
    • If the light still does not function after battery replacement, contact Trophy Ridge customer support for assistance.
