1. Important Safety Information

Please read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury to your child.

• WARNING: Never leave your child unattended.
• WARNING: Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use.
• WARNING: To avoid injury, ensure that your child is kept away when unfolding and folding this product.
• WARNING: Do not let your child play with this product.
• WARNING: Always use the restraint system.
• WARNING: Check that the pram body or seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.
• This product is suitable for children from birth up to 15 kg (approximately 3 years).
• The parking device shall be engaged when placing and removing the child.
• Any load attached to the handle and/or on the back of the backrest and/or on the sides of the product will affect the stability of the product.
• The product is designed for one child only.
• Do not use accessories that are not approved by the manufacturer.
• The stroller conforms to safety standard EN 1888-1:2018+A1:2022.

3. Assembly and Setup

3.1 Unfolding the Stroller

1. Place the folded stroller on a flat surface with the wheels facing down.
2. Release the folding latch, usually located on the side of the frame.
3. Lift the handlebar upwards firmly until the frame locks into place. You should hear an audible 'click'.
4. Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged before placing your child in the stroller.

3.2 Adjusting the Handlebar

The telescopic handlebar can be adjusted to multiple positions to suit your height for comfortable pushing.

1. Locate the handlebar adjustment buttons on either side of the handlebar.
2. Press and hold these buttons simultaneously.
3. Extend or retract the handlebar to your desired height.
4. Release the buttons to lock the handlebar in position. Ensure it is securely locked before use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Folding the Stroller (One-Hand Fold)

The Explorer stroller features a convenient one-hand folding system.

1. Ensure the backrest is in an upright position and the canopy is retracted.
2. Locate the one-hand fold mechanism, typically on the handlebar or frame.
3. Activate the mechanism (e.g., slide a button and press a lever) while simultaneously pushing the handlebar forward and down.
4. Continue to push until the stroller is fully folded and the automatic lock engages.
5. The folded dimensions are approximately 27 x 44 x 60 cm.

4.2 Adjusting the Backrest

The backrest can be adjusted to multiple positions for your child's comfort, from upright to a reclined position for naps.

1. To recline: Locate the adjustment lever or strap mechanism behind the backrest. Gently squeeze the lever or pull the strap to release the lock and lower the backrest to the desired angle.
2. To raise: Push the backrest upwards until it locks into the desired position. Ensure it is securely locked before use.

4.3 Adjusting the Calf Rest

The calf rest provides additional support for your child's legs.

1. Locate the buttons or levers on either side of the calf rest.
2. Press these buttons/levers and adjust the calf rest to the desired angle.
3. Release the buttons/levers to lock it in place.

4.4 Securing the Child with the 5-Point Harness

Always use the 5-point safety harness to secure your child.

1. Place your child in the seat.
2. Bring the shoulder straps over your child's shoulders and the waist straps around their waist.
3. Insert the two buckle prongs (shoulder and waist straps) into the central buckle until they click securely.
4. Adjust the straps to ensure a snug fit, but not too tight. The harness should be adjusted as your child grows.
5. To release: Press the button on the central buckle.

4.5 Brake System

The stroller is equipped with a foot-operated brake system.

1. To engage the brake: Press down firmly on the brake pedal, usually located near the rear wheels, until it locks.
2. To release the brake: Lift the brake pedal upwards.
3. Always engage the brake when the stroller is stationary, especially when placing or removing your child.

4.6 Canopy Adjustment

The adjustable canopy provides shade and protection for your child.

1. To extend the canopy: Pull the front edge of the canopy forward.
2. To retract the canopy: Push the front edge of the canopy backward.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Cleaning Fabric Parts

• Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
• Do not use harsh detergents or bleach.
• Allow to air dry completely before folding or storing.
• Refer to any specific care labels on the fabric for detailed instructions.

5.2 Cleaning Frame and Wheels

• Wipe the frame with a soft, damp cloth.
• Clean wheels regularly to remove dirt and debris.
• Lubricate moving parts (e.g., wheel axles) periodically with a silicone-based lubricant to ensure smooth operation.

5.3 Storage

• Store the stroller in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Ensure the stroller is clean and dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your BABYLO Explorer Stroller, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Difficulty Folding/Unfolding: Ensure all locking mechanisms are disengaged (for folding) or fully engaged (for unfolding). Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism.
• Wheels Not Turning Smoothly: Clean any dirt or debris from the wheel axles. Lubricate with a silicone-based spray if necessary. Ensure the brakes are fully disengaged.
• Harness Not Buckling: Check that the buckle prongs are correctly aligned and free from obstructions. Ensure the central buckle is not damaged.
• Stroller Pulls to One Side: Check for uneven tire pressure (if applicable) or debris in the wheel mechanisms. Ensure wheels are properly attached.
