1. Product Overview

3. Setup

3.1 Attaching Your Camera

  1. Locate the quick release plate on the tripod head.
  2. Press the release button on the pistol grip head to detach the quick release plate.
  3. Attach the quick release plate to the bottom of your camera by screwing the 1/4-20” screw into the camera's tripod socket. Ensure it is securely tightened.
  4. Slide the camera with the attached quick release plate back into the pistol grip head until it clicks into place.

3.2 Extending the Tripod Legs

  1. Unfold the tripod legs.
  2. Locate the quick flip leg locks on each leg section.
  3. Flip open the locks to extend each leg section to your desired height.
  4. Close the flip locks securely to ensure the legs are stable.

3.3 Extending the Center Column

  1. Loosen the center column locking knob located below the pistol grip head.
  2. Gently pull the center column upwards to extend it to your desired height.
  3. Tighten the center column locking knob to secure it in place.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adjusting the Pistol Grip Head

  1. The ergonomic pistol grip allows for quick and intuitive adjustments.
  2. For Photo Mode (Full Movement): Loosen the friction dial on the side of the pistol grip. This allows for 360-degree rotation and tilt, enabling precise framing for photographs.
  3. For Video Mode (Pan/Tilt Only): Tighten the friction dial to restrict movement to only pan (horizontal) and tilt (vertical) axes, providing smoother video recording.
  4. Once your desired angle is achieved, release the pistol grip to lock the head securely in position.

4.2 Using the Integrated Level

The pistol grip head features an integrated bubble level. Ensure the bubble is centered to achieve perfectly straight horizons in your photos and videos, especially useful on uneven surfaces.

5. Maintenance

  • Regularly clean the tripod legs and head with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris.
  • Avoid exposing the tripod to extreme temperatures or harsh chemicals.
  • Ensure all locking mechanisms are free of sand or dirt, especially after use in outdoor environments.
  • Store the tripod in its provided carrying bag when not in use to protect it from scratches and impacts.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Tripod Instability: Ensure all leg locks and the center column locking knob are fully tightened. Verify that the tripod legs are spread evenly on a stable surface.
  • Camera Not Secure: Check that the quick release plate is firmly attached to your camera and properly clicked into the pistol grip head.
  • Stiff Head Movement: Loosen the friction dial on the pistol grip head. If movement remains stiff, clean any debris from the ball head mechanism.
