3. Setup
3.1. Power Connection
Connect the provided 6 ft power cord to one of the redundant AC power inputs on the rear panel of the HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro. Plug the other end into a compatible power outlet. For critical applications, connect a second power cord to the alternate AC input for redundancy.

3.2. Media Insertion
The HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro supports both 2.5" SSDs and SD cards. Locate the media slots on the front panel.
- SSD: Gently slide a 2.5" SSD into one of the two SSD slots until it clicks into place.
- SD Card: Insert a compatible SD card (SD or UHS-II) into one of the two SD card slots until it locks.

3.3. Video and Audio Connections
Connect your video and audio sources to the rear panel of the HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro using appropriate cables.
- SDI Input: Connect your 12G-SDI video source to the 'SDI IN' BNC connector.
- HDMI Input: Connect your HDMI 2.0 video source to the 'HDMI IN' port.
- SDI Outputs: Use the two 12G-SDI outputs for program output or fill and key. The 'SDI LOOP OUT' provides a pass-through of the SDI input.

4. Operating the Recorder
4.1. Basic Controls

- PLAY: Press to start playback.

- SKIP/REW/FFWD: Navigate through clips.

4.2. Recording

Navigate to your desired clip using the skip buttons or jog wheel. Press the PLAY button to start playback. The video will be output through the selected SDI or HDMI output.
