Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including:
- Read all instructions before operating this appliance.

- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off," then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- Check the dimension and item weight of the product and confirm it fits your space before permanent placement.

Before First Use
- Remove all exterior and interior packaging.
- Check to ensure all parts are included (ice maker, ice basket, ice scoop).
- Clean the interior with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
- Place the ice maker on a level and stable surface, away from direct sunlight or other heat sources. Ensure at least 6 inches of space around the unit for proper ventilation.
- Allow one hour for the refrigerant fluid to settle before plugging in the unit.
Setup
- Open the top cover and remove the ice basket.
- Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX water level mark. Do not overfill.
- Replace the ice basket and close the top cover.
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
- Power On: Press the POWER button to turn on the ice maker. The POWER indicator light will illuminate.
- Select Ice Size: Press the SELECT button to choose between SMALL or LARGE ice cube sizes. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
- Ice Production: The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch of ice may take slightly longer to produce.
- Add Water Indicator: If the "ADD WATER" indicator light illuminates, the water reservoir is low. Add more water and press the POWER button to restart the cycle.
- Ice Full Indicator: When the "ICE FULL" indicator light illuminates, the ice basket is full. Remove ice to continue production.
- Power Off: Press the POWER button again to turn off the ice maker.
For optimal performance, ensure the water reservoir is always adequately filled and the ice basket is not overfilled.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Self-Cleaning Function
The ice maker features an automatic five-cycle self-cleaning function:
- Ensure the unit is empty of ice and water.
- Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of water and a small amount of white vinegar or a dedicated ice machine cleaner.
- Press and hold the CLEAN button (refer to your unit's control panel for exact button). The cleaning cycle will begin.
- Once the cycle is complete, drain the cleaning solution and rinse the reservoir thoroughly with clean water.
- Run a cycle with clean water to flush out any remaining cleaning solution before making ice for consumption.
Manual Cleaning
- Unplug the ice maker before cleaning.
- Remove the ice basket and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Clean the interior of the unit, including the water reservoir and ice chute, with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution.
- Wipe down the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing the unit.
