1. Introduction

This user manual provides comprehensive instructions for the operation and maintenance of your new YAOHUIMI Replacement Remote Control. This remote is designed to be compatible with specific EMI Enviroair Heat-Controller A/C AC units, including models RG52A2/BGEF and RG52B/BGE. 2. Compatibility

This remote control is specifically designed as a replacement for EMI Enviroair Heat-Controller A/C AC units. It is compatible with the following models:

  • RG52A2/BGEF
  • RG52B/BGE

Important Note: This is not a universal remote control. Please verify your air conditioner model or existing remote control model before attempting to use this replacement unit. Brand names are not the primary indicator for compatibility; model numbers are crucial.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the battery cover downwards or outwards to open.
  3. Insert two new AAA batteries (not included), ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagrams inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

Note: Always replace both batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the ON/OFF button to turn the air conditioner unit on or off.

5.2 Mode Selection

Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through the available operating modes:

  • AUTO: The unit automatically selects the operating mode (Cool, Heat, Fan) based on the room temperature.
  • COOL: Provides cooling operation.
  • DRY: Dehumidifies the room.
  • HEAT: Provides heating operation.

5.3 Temperature Adjustment

Use the TEMP ▲ (up) and TEMP ▼ (down) buttons to adjust the desired temperature setting. The temperature will be displayed on the screen.

5.4 Fan Speed Control

Press the FAN SPEED button repeatedly to select the desired fan speed:

  • AUTO: Fan speed adjusts automatically.
  • LOW: Low fan speed.
  • MED: Medium fan speed.
  • HIGH: High fan speed.

5.5 Swing Function

Press the SWING button to activate or deactivate the automatic louver swing function, which helps distribute air evenly.

5.6 Sleep Mode

Press the SLEEP button to activate sleep mode, which adjusts temperature and fan speed for comfortable sleeping conditions and energy saving.

5.7 Timer Functions

  • TIMER ON: Press this button to set a time for the unit to turn on automatically. Use TEMP ▲/▼ to adjust the time.
  • TIMER OFF: Press this button to set a time for the unit to turn off automatically. Use TEMP ▲/▼ to adjust the time.

5.8 LED Display / Turbo

The LED DISPLAY / TURBO button may control the unit's LED display or activate a turbo function for rapid cooling/heating, depending on your specific A/C model.

5.9 Reset / Lock

The RESET / LOCK button may be used to reset settings or lock the remote to prevent accidental changes. Refer to your A/C unit's manual for specific functions.

5.10 Air Direction

Press the AIR DIRECTION button to manually adjust the horizontal airflow direction.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Remote Control

  • Wipe the surface of the remote control with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners, sprays, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the remote.

6.2 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote control's range decreases or if the display becomes dim. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1.
