The Link2Home Zigbee Thermostatic Radiator Valve allows precise control over your home's heating system, enabling room-by-room temperature management. This smart valve integrates with the Link2Home ecosystem, offering remote control via the Link2Home Pro application. It is designed to help optimize energy consumption by heating only the rooms you use.

Note: A Link2Home Zigbee Gateway (Model LTHZGBEGWAY, sold separately) is required for smart control functionality.

Setup and Installation

1. Battery Installation

  1. Gently twist and remove the top cover of the valve to access the battery compartment.
  2. Insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Replace the top cover, twisting it until it clicks securely into place.

2. Physical Installation on Radiator

  1. Remove your existing thermostatic radiator valve head.
  2. Select the appropriate adapter from the included accessories that fits your radiator valve body.
  3. Attach the selected adapter to the radiator valve body.
  4. Mount the Link2Home Zigbee Thermostatic Radiator Valve onto the adapter. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
  5. Secure the valve firmly in place.

3. Pairing with Link2Home Zigbee Gateway and App

This valve requires a Link2Home Zigbee Gateway (LTHZGBEGWAY) for smart control. Ensure your gateway is set up and connected to your home network.

  1. Download the Link2Home Pro app from your smartphone's app store (available for Android and iOS).
  2. Open the app and follow the instructions to add a new device.
  3. Put your Link2Home Zigbee Gateway into pairing mode (refer to your gateway's manual for specific instructions).
  4. On the radiator valve, press and hold the pairing button (usually indicated by a network symbol or located under the cover) until the display shows a pairing indicator.
  5. Once successfully paired, the valve will appear in your Link2Home Pro app.

  • The valve features an LCD screen for local temperature display and settings.
  • Rotate the dial on the valve to manually adjust the desired temperature. The new setting will be displayed on the LCD.
  • The valve provides precise temperature control at 0.5° increments.

App Control (Link2Home Pro)

  • Open the Link2Home Pro app on your smartphone or tablet.
  • Select the specific radiator valve you wish to control.
  • From the app, you can remotely turn off or adjust the temperature for each individual valve.
  • Utilize the app's scheduling features to set heating programs for different times and days.
  • Monitor energy consumption, view usage reports, and track heating trends directly within the app.

Voice Control

The Link2Home Zigbee Thermostatic Radiator Valve is compatible with voice assistants such as Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri (via Link2Home Pro app integration). Follow the instructions within the Link2Home Pro app to link your device with your preferred voice assistant.

  • Example commands: "Alexa, set the living room temperature to 21 degrees." or "Hey Google, turn off the bedroom radiator."

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The valve requires two (2) AA batteries. When the battery level is low, an indicator will typically appear on the valve's LCD screen and within the Link2Home Pro app. Replace batteries as described in the 'Battery Installation' section of this manual.

Cleaning

To clean the valve, gently wipe its surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water.

Troubleshooting

  • Valve not responding: Check if the batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
  • Cannot connect to app: Ensure your Link2Home Zigbee Gateway is powered on, connected to the internet, and within range of the radiator valve. Try re-pairing the device as per the 'Pairing' instructions.
  • Incorrect temperature readings: Ensure the valve is not obstructed by curtains or furniture, which can affect temperature sensing.
  • Radiator not heating/cooling: Verify that the desired temperature in the app or on the valve is set correctly. Check your central heating system for proper operation.
  • Voice control issues: Confirm that the valve is correctly linked to your voice assistant account via the Link2Home Pro app. Check your internet connection.
