7. Maintenance
To ensure the long-term performance and appearance of your Garosa door lock, follow these maintenance tips:
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the lock surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the aluminum alloy finish.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a small amount of graphite lubricant to the keyhole and internal moving parts of the lock body to ensure smooth operation. Do not use oil-based lubricants as they can attract dust and grime.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws and mounting hardware for tightness. Ensure the handle operates smoothly and the locking mechanism engages fully.
- Environmental Protection: While the lock is designed to be sun-proof, waterproof, and high-temperature resistant, extreme conditions may still affect its lifespan. Regular cleaning and inspection are especially important in harsh environments.
