Setup and Installation
The BLANCO Fontas-S II faucet is designed for single-hole installation. A faucet bore hole of Ø 35 mm is required.
Required Tools (Not Included):
- Adjustable wrench
- Screwdriver
- Basin wrench (optional, for tight spaces)
- Sealant tape (Teflon tape)
Installation Steps:
- Prepare the Sink/Countertop: Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry. If installing on a new sink, ensure the Ø 35 mm faucet hole is correctly drilled.
- Install the Faucet: Insert the faucet body into the mounting hole. Ensure the base gasket is properly seated to prevent leaks.
- Secure the Faucet: From underneath the sink, slide the stabilization plate and then the mounting washer onto the threaded shank. Secure with the mounting nut (20 cm nut for easy and secure mounting). Tighten firmly but do not overtighten.
- Connect Water Supply Lines: Attach the flexible hot and cold water supply hoses to your existing hot and cold water shut-off valves. Use sealant tape on the threads for a watertight seal. Connect the filtered water line to your water filter system (additional filter required, not included).
- Connect Pull-Out Hose: Connect the pull-out hose to the designated connection point on the faucet body. Ensure the counterweight is properly installed on the hose for smooth retraction.
- Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply and check all connections for leaks. Operate both the hot/cold and filtered water functions to ensure proper flow.

Operating Instructions
The BLANCO Fontas-S II faucet offers intuitive control for both unfiltered and filtered water.
- Unfiltered Hot/Cold Water: Use the mixer lever located on the right side of the faucet. Push the lever up for water flow. Move it left for hot water and right for cold water.
- Filtered Water: Use the rotary handle located on the left side of the faucet. Rotate the handle to activate the filtered water flow. This water is delivered through a separate internal conduit and outlet to ensure purity.
- Pull-Out Hose: Gently pull the spout head to extend the hose for increased reach. After use, the hose will retract smoothly back into the faucet body.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance and functionality of your BLANCO Fontas-S II faucet.
- Cleaning the Finish: Clean the matte black finish with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
- Aerator Cleaning: Periodically unscrew the aerator at the end of the spout and clean any mineral deposits or debris. The patented jet regulator is designed to reduce limescale, but occasional cleaning is still recommended.
- Cartridge Maintenance: The faucet is equipped with a ceramic cartridge for smooth operation. If you experience drips or leaks, the cartridge may need to be cleaned or replaced. Consult a professional if unsure.
- Hose Maintenance: Ensure the pull-out hose moves freely and is not obstructed under the sink. Keep the counterweight clear of any pipes or items that could impede its movement.
Troubleshooting
Before calling for service, please refer to the following common issues and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |

| Faucet drips or leaks | Loose connections; worn cartridge seals. | Check and tighten all connections; replace ceramic cartridge if necessary (professional assistance recommended). |
| Pull-out hose does not retract fully | Obstruction under sink; counterweight dislodged. | Clear obstructions; re-position or re-attach counterweight. |
