1. Introduction

The MaxPower MP1300 is the latest model in the MaxPower Portable Power Station series. It offers a 1300W AC rated output, 300W fast charging capability, and a substantial battery capacity of 1160Wh (313,500mAh). This unit is designed for high performance, capable of powering approximately 90% of common household appliances with its 1300W output. It also supports solar panels up to 300W for efficient and convenient solar charging.

This portable power station features an ultra-compact design, comparable to a 700W class unit, while delivering high efficiency, large capacity, and quiet operation. It is an ideal power solution for car camping, outdoor activities, and emergency preparedness. The MP1300 utilizes a high energy density ternary lithium battery, known for its reliability in various applications.

4. Product Overview and Ports

5. Setup

Before using your MaxPower MP1300 for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the unit.

Initial Charging

Connect the provided AC adapter to the input port on the power station and then plug it into a wall outlet. The display will indicate charging status. Allow the unit to charge until it reaches 100% capacity.

6. Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

Press and hold the main power button for a few seconds to turn the unit on or off. The display will illuminate when the unit is active.

Activating Output Ports

• AC Output: Press the AC button to activate the AC outlets. Ensure that the total power consumption of connected devices does not exceed the 1300W rated output (1500W peak).
• DC Output: Press the DC button to activate the DC ports, including USB-A, USB-QC3.0, Type-C (PD), and the cigarette lighter socket.

Frequency Switching

The AC output supports both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies. To switch between frequencies, double-click the AC button. The current frequency will be displayed on the screen.

Saving Mode & Normal Mode

The unit may feature a switch or button to toggle between a power-saving mode and a normal operating mode. Refer to the display or specific button labels for activation.

7. Charging Methods

The MaxPower MP1300 offers multiple charging options:

• AC Adapter Charging: Use the included AC adapter. It is compatible with 50Hz/60Hz power sources. The DC charging input port size is 8.0mm*7.9mm*2.0mm, accepting 18-48V.
• Car Charger Charging: Connect the unit to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket using the provided car charger cable. The car charger port accepts an input voltage range of 12-24V, with a maximum current of 7A.
• Solar Panel Charging: The MP1300 supports MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) control for efficient solar charging. The solar input voltage range is 12V-48V. It is compatible with 100W/200W solar panels (e.g., MaxPower WL100, MPS200, sold separately). The maximum input current is 10A, and the maximum input rating is 300W. Solar charging can significantly reduce battery charging time.
• Generator Charging: The unit can also be charged using a compatible generator.

• USB-QC3.0 Port: 1 port, 5-12V/3A, maximum 18W (Quick Charge 3.0 compatible).
• USB-A Ports: 2 ports, 2.4A each.
• Type-C (PD) Port: 1 port, 4-20V/MAX 3A, maximum 60W (Power Delivery compatible).
• DC Ports: 2 ports, 12V/5A each.
• Cigarette Lighter Socket: 12.8V/10A, maximum 120W output.

9. Maintenance

Storage

Store the MaxPower MP1300 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and corrosive materials. For optimal battery health, recharge the unit every 3-6 months, even if not in use.

Operating Temperature

The unit operates safely in environments ranging from -10°C to 60°C. For charging, the recommended temperature range is -10°C to 40°C.

10. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your MaxPower MP1300, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• "E1: Low Power" Error: If this error message appears, try charging the unit for a few minutes. If the issue persists after extended charging, contact customer support.
• Unit Not Charging: Ensure all charging cables (AC adapter, car charger, solar panel) are securely connected to both the power station and the power source. Verify that the power source is active. Check cables for any visible damage. For solar charging, ensure panels are in direct sunlight and correctly oriented.
• No Power Output: Confirm that the power station is turned on and that the specific output (AC or DC) you intend to use is activated by pressing its respective button. Check if the device you are trying to power exceeds the unit's maximum output capacity (1300W for AC).
• Fan Noise: The internal cooling fan may activate during high power output or charging to prevent overheating. This is normal operation. If the fan noise is unusually loud or constant without heavy load, ensure the vents are not obstructed.
