4. Setup
4.1. App Download and Account Creation
To begin, download the official LaView app from your device's app store (App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android). Once installed, launch the app and follow the on-screen prompts to create a new LaView account or log in if you already have one. Ensure you agree to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy during registration.

4.2. Adding Your Device
After logging into the LaView app, tap the "Add Device" or "+" button to add your new security camera. Select the "Smart Camera" option. Power on your camera and ensure its indicator light is flashing rapidly, or a prompt tone is heard, indicating it's ready for pairing. Proceed to enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network password. The app will then display a QR code. Hold your mobile phone approximately 6-8 inches (15-20 cm) in front of the camera lens so the camera can scan the QR code. You should hear a voice prompt from the camera once the QR code is successfully read. Confirm this prompt in the app to complete the device addition process. Ensure the camera, mobile phone, and router are close to each other during this process for optimal connection.

4.3. Physical Installation
The LaView 4MP 2K Security Cameras feature a magnetic mount for flexible installation, allowing them to be easily placed indoors or outdoors. Their IP65 weather-resistant rating ensures durability against various environmental conditions, including rain.

5. Operation
5.1. Live View & Monitoring
Once your camera is successfully added, you can access 24/7 live streams through the LaView app on your mobile device or via a web browser. The app supports viewing up to 9 simultaneous live feeds, allowing you to monitor multiple areas at once.

5.2. Two-Way Audio & Spotlight
The camera features superior 2-way audio with a high-quality microphone and speakers. Use the push-to-talk function via the LaView app for real-time communication. The integrated spotlight can be activated to illuminate areas or deter unwanted visitors.

5.3. Motion/Person Detection & Notifications
Receive instant alerts on your mobile device for motion or human presence. The AI-powered algorithms help reduce false alarms. You can also set custom activity zones to focus detection on specific areas of interest.

5.5. Storage Options
