3. Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the camera's components and their functions:

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera. The built-in 250mAh battery provides approximately 40-60 minutes of operation on a full charge. For continuous recording, connect the camera to a USB charger or power bank.

1. Connect the provided USB data cable to the camera's USB port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (5V/1A recommended) or a computer's USB port.
3. The indicator light will show charging status (refer to LED indicator guide in section 5.1).

4.2 Inserting Micro SD Card

A Micro SD card (not included) is required to save recordings. The camera supports cards up to 32GB.

1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the camera.
2. Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, push the card in again until it springs out.

4.3 App Installation and Wi-Fi Connection

To access live video feed, playbacks, and advanced settings, download the dedicated mobile application. The camera connects to your room's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router.

1. Scan the QR code provided in the quick start guide (or search for the app name, usually mentioned in the product packaging or an automated email after purchase) on your iOS or Android device.
2. Install the application.
3. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your camera. This typically involves connecting your phone to the camera's temporary Wi-Fi hotspot, then configuring the camera to connect to your home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

5.1 Powering On/Off and LED Indicators

• Power On: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds. The indicator light will illuminate.
• Power Off: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds. The indicator light will turn off.
• LED Indicators: Refer to the app or quick start guide for specific LED light patterns indicating status (e.g., charging, recording, motion detection, Wi-Fi connection).

5.2 Recording Video

The camera supports continuous recording and motion-activated recording.

• Continuous Recording: Once powered on with a Micro SD card inserted, the camera typically begins recording automatically in a loop. Older files are overwritten when the card is full.
• App Control: Use the mobile app to start/stop recording, change resolution, and manage other recording settings.

5.3 Motion Detection

The camera can be configured to record only when motion is detected, saving storage space and battery life. It also sends alerts to your mobile phone.

1. Open the mobile application.
2. Navigate to the camera settings.
3. Enable "Motion Detection" and adjust sensitivity levels as needed.

5.5 Viewing Recordings

Recordings can be viewed directly through the app or by accessing the Micro SD card.

• Via App: Open the mobile app and navigate to the playback or gallery section to view recorded videos stored on the Micro SD card.
• Via Computer: Power off the camera, remove the Micro SD card, and insert it into a computer's card reader. The video files (typically MPEG-4 format) can then be played using standard media players.
