Setup and Installation

Professional installation is recommended. Ensure you have the necessary tools: screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, and safety glasses.

Step 1: Prepare for Installation

  1. Turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
  2. Remove the old fixture (if applicable).
  3. Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay out all parts on a clean surface.

Step 2: Mount the Fixture

  1. Attach the mounting plate to the junction box in the ceiling using the provided screws.
  2. Thread the fixture wires through the center hole of the mounting plate.

Step 3: Wiring Connections

  1. Connect the black fixture wire to the black supply wire (Live) using a wire nut.
  2. Connect the white fixture wire to the white supply wire (Neutral) using a wire nut.
  3. Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
  4. Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box.

Step 4: Secure the Canopy and Attach Shades

  1. Align the fixture canopy with the mounting plate and secure it with the provided screws or decorative nuts.
  2. Install six (6) E12 base incandescent bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Do not exceed 60 watts per bulb.
  3. Place the fabric shades over each bulb socket.

Operating Instructions

Once installed, restore power at the circuit breaker. The Z-Lite 3033-6MB Emily Chandelier is designed to be operated via a standard wall switch or a compatible remote control system (if installed separately).

  • Power On/Off: Use the wall switch connected to the fixture to turn the chandelier on or off.
  • Remote Control: If a remote control system is integrated with your home's lighting, follow the instructions provided with your remote control for pairing and operation.
  • Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off before replacing bulbs. Allow bulbs to cool completely before touching.
