1. Product Overview

The CHINS 24V 3000W Inverter & Controller is a multi-function solar energy storage inverter control integrated machine. It combines solar energy storage, mains charging energy storage, and AC sine wave output. Utilizing DSP control and advanced algorithms, it offers high response speed, reliability, and industrial standard features.

2.1. Physical Installation

3. Operating Instructions

The inverter features an LCD display and control buttons for easy operation and monitoring.

3.1. Powering On/Off

1. Ensure all wiring connections are secure.
2. Turn on the battery disconnect switch.
3. Press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button on the inverter to power on.
4. To power off, press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button until the unit shuts down.

3.2. Charging Modes

The inverter supports four charging modes, configurable via the LCD display:

• Only Solar: Prioritizes solar power for charging.
• Mains Priority: Prioritizes utility grid power for charging.
• Solar Priority: Prioritizes solar power for both charging and supplying loads.
• Mains & Solar Hybrid Charging: Utilizes both mains and solar power for charging, with mains supplementing when solar is insufficient.

The inverter offers three load output modes:

• PV Priority: Solar power is prioritized for loads.
• Utility Priority: Utility grid power is prioritized for loads.
• Inverter Mode: Power is supplied from the battery via the inverter.

3.4. Battery Compatibility

The system is compatible with various battery types, including lead-acid (Flooded, GEL, AGM/Sealed) and lithium batteries (Lithium-iron Phosphate, Lithium-ion), with options for user-customized settings.

The firmware version can be checked on the LCD display. For model HF2430U60-100, the firmware version is 5.28.

• Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the unit and ensure ventilation openings are free from dust and debris. Use a dry, soft cloth.

• Inverter Not Charging Battery from AC: Ensure the "Mains Priority" charging mode (setting 06 CUB) is selected. Verify AC input voltage is within the rated range (90-140Vac). Check all AC input wiring and circuit breakers. If the issue persists, it may indicate a firmware or internal component issue.
• No Output Power: Check if the inverter is powered on. Verify battery connections and voltage. Ensure AC output breaker is not tripped. Check for overload conditions.
• Fault Indicator On: Refer to the inverter's display for specific fault codes. Common faults include overload, short circuit, over-voltage, and under-voltage. Address the underlying cause (e.g., reduce load, check wiring).
