Setup and Installation

1. Mounting the Headset

The Parani A10 can be mounted to most motorcycle helmets using the included clamp kit. Ensure the mounting location allows for easy access to controls and clear microphone placement.

  1. Choose Location: Select a flat surface on the left side of your helmet for the clamp unit.
  2. Install Clamp: Loosen the screws on the clamp unit and slide it between the helmet shell and the inner padding. Tighten the screws securely.
  3. Attach Main Unit: Slide the Parani A10 main unit onto the mounted clamp until it clicks into place.

2. Speaker and Microphone Placement

Proper placement of speakers and microphone is crucial for optimal audio quality.

  1. Speaker Placement: Attach the speakers to the inside of the helmet, aligning them with your ears. Use the provided hook-and-loop fasteners.
  2. Microphone Placement (Boom Mic): For the boom microphone, position the microphone directly in front of your mouth, ensuring it is close but not touching your lips.
  3. Microphone Placement (Wired Mic): For the wired microphone, secure it inside the helmet near your mouth, typically within the cheek pad area.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Center Button for 1 second.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Center Button for 5 seconds.

Bluetooth Pairing (Smartphone)

Pair your Parani A10 with your smartphone to access music, phone calls, and GPS navigation.

  1. With the headset off, press and hold the Center Button for 10 seconds until you hear "Phone pairing" and the LED flashes blue.
  2. On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and search for "Parani A10" in the list of devices.
  3. Select "Parani A10" to complete the pairing. You will hear "Your headset is paired."

Intercom Pairing (Other Parani Devices)

The Parani A10 supports Bluetooth Intercom with up to three other Parani users.

  1. Ensure both Parani A10 units are powered on.
  2. On Unit A, press and hold the Center Button for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red.
  3. On Unit B, press and hold the Center Button for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red.
  4. The units will automatically pair. Once paired, the LED will return to blue.
  5. Repeat for additional units (up to 4 total).

Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the Center Button once.
  • Next Track: Press the (+) Button once.
  • Previous Track: Press the (-) Button once.
  • Volume Up: Press and hold the (+) Button.
  • Volume Down: Press and hold the (-) Button.

Maintenance
