Setup
Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed. Place the SodaStream Terra on a flat, stable surface.
1. Installing the CO2 Cylinder:
- Remove the back cover of the SodaStream Terra by gently pulling it away from the main unit.
- Insert the 60-liter Quick Connect CO2 gas cylinder into the back compartment. Ensure the cylinder is upright and aligned with the Quick Connect system.
- Push the pink handle down to lock the cylinder into place.
- Replace the back cover by snapping it back onto the unit.

Operating Instructions
1. Prepare the Carbonating Bottle:
- Fill the 1-liter SodaStream carbonating bottle with cold tap water up to the fill line. Do not overfill.
- Twist the bottle into the snap-lock mechanism until it is securely in place. The bottle should be held firmly by the machine.

2. Carbonate the Water:
- Press the carbonating button located on the top of the machine firmly for about 1 second. Release and repeat 3-5 times for desired carbonation level. A buzzing sound indicates excess CO2 is being released.
- Do not over-pressurize the bottle.

3. Remove the Bottle:
- Once carbonation is complete, gently pull the bottle forward to release it from the snap-lock mechanism.
- Add any desired flavorings to your sparkling water. Do not carbonate water with flavorings already added.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Machine:
- Wipe the SodaStream Terra machine with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the machine in water.
- The carbonating bottle is dishwasher safe. Wash regularly to maintain hygiene.
CO2 Cylinder Replacement:
- When the CO2 cylinder is empty, follow the installation steps in reverse to remove it.
